Following the successful delivery of a rooftop waterproofing upgrade in 2020, RM Watson was reengaged by Kador Properties in 2023 to undertake a comprehensive facade restoration project on the heritage-listed building located in Pyrmont. The project addressed deterioration across the structure's distinctive brick facade while preserving its historical character.
The six-storey structure features robust construction typical of its era, with reinforced concrete floors supported by substantial load-bearing masonry walls. The ground floor exhibits particularly notable masonry work, with 700mm thick brick walls expanding to 1050mm at the pier sections along Pyrmont Street.
