418a Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills

RM Watson has been engaged by Elizabeth Towers Pty Ltd to deliver a comprehensive facade upgrade to the commercial site located at 418a Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.

Works to be completed across the project include:

• Wholesale cleaning of the facade using a hot water pressure wash system
• Application of a microcrystalline bond stain to the entire facade
• Replacement of window gasket and sealant system across the entire facade
• Concrete facade repairs

Due to the requirements of the site, Keim Concretal Lasur was selected as the most appropriate protective coating system. Keim Concretal Lasur is a water repellent low pigmentation silicate colour wash, primarily used for protection against weathering and chlorides. The system acts as a stain that penetrates the surface of concrete, equalising colour variations whilst maintaining the structure and appearance of the concrete.

Works are currently underway with practical completion scheduled for May 2023.
