RM Watson was engaged by Medina Property Services (TFE Hotels) to replace the combustible ACP cladding installed to the façade of the Adina Hotel in Darling Harbour.
The team were engaged on a design and construct basis to remove the existing substructure and all combustible cladding and replace it with 3mm thick aluminium sheeting. While the project was underway, RM Watson also delivered structural repair works to the balcony balustrades and additional isolated concrete repairs.
All work areas were accessed simultaneously via scaffold to reduce the duration of the project and limit impact of the works on the normal operations of the hotel.
