Originally constructed in 2015, the Otto 1 residential development in Rosebery required significant remediation works to address various building defects affecting resident safety and comfort. The complex experienced extensive water ingress issues stemming from a systemic failure of the balcony waterproofing system, alongside other structural and compliance challenges that needed resolution.
In 2023, the Owners Corporation and Icon Project Management appointed RM Watson to undertake a comprehensive remediation program. Working closely with all stakeholders, our team developed and implemented solutions to meet three critical objectives:
